PNIRS 2022: June 15th-18th
Zurich, Switzerland
The Main Building at ETH, Zurich

Welcome to the PNIRS 2022 Annual meeting information site! I am delighted to announce that we will be hosting our first face-to-face PNIRS Annual meeting in 3 years. Our meeting will take place in the beautiful city of Zurich, Switzerland situated on the northern tip of lake Zurich, close to the Swiss Alps, at ETH Zurich. Regular attendees will be familiar with the structure of our annual meetings which combine scientific sessions on the latest advances in psychoneuroimmunology research with a warm convivial atmosphere and ample opportunities to network and catch up with old and new friends and colleagues.

For newer members, PNIRS meetings are structured to maximise opportunities to meet fellow members and discuss research ideas. For trainees, this includes a trainee only ‘mixer social’ on the evening of the second full day of the conference and an informal mentor-mentee session with more established scientists after the initial ½ day educational short course. Both sessions include complementary snacks and drinks and provide an ideal opportunity for trainees to meet and discuss their science in an informal environment.

Registration to the meeting also includes provision of lunch on two of the three full days of the meeting and registration for the ‘Welcome Reception’ which includes food and drink, and this year will be held on the ETH Polyterrace with stunning views of Zurich and the Alps. As is traditional, the PNIRS ends with a closing banquet (included within registration) and a time to celebrate our newest award winners. This year’s banquet will be held in the stunning ‘Bauschanzli Restaurant’ located on a purpose built island at the heart of the old city.

For further details on the meeting schedule, please follow this link to the PNIRS 2022 Schedule at a Glance. And information on local hotels will also be shared soon. I look forward to meeting you in Zurich in June!
